The goal of iEARN is to enable young people to collaborate on projects worldwide, resulting in enhanced educational results in them being able to make a positive contribution to the health and welfare of the planet and its people.

Making use of ICT, iEARN enables students and teachers to engage in international collaborative projects across geographical boundaries, time zones, language and cultural differences and build global understanding as part of their school education.

Being supported by many enterprises and organizations, iEARN has steadily grown to be the world's largest school network.

In order to realize world peace, it is important to respect each other's cultures and different life realities. iEARN online projects, in which youth play a central role, connect people's wisdom cross-culturally from person to person, and enable students to broaden their global horizons.
At the conference, attendees will:
Meet with people from 70 different countries and develop one's global understanding and communication in English, Japanese and any of 25 other languages!
Interact with new partners from other countries, enhancing their general educational environment and international exchange programs.
Learn about and understand practical examples of ICT's in education in other countries. These examples are valuable for adapting teaching materials and pedagogical methodologies to contribute to students' global understanding and educational outcomes
Have exciting new opportunities for collaboration with communities and schools through iEARN's student-focused projects
Deepen one's awareness of global issues and confirm the importance of a ‘global environment' and ‘world peace’
