JEARN office is located in Kobe city facing Seto Inland Sea, Only 3 mats space with one desk and one cabnet, with an internet and telephone lines. But the location is excellent between JICA Hyogo and Hyogo Musium looking nice overview, Meeting space just outside the door where we often use for our works and meetings. It is the part of Hyogo International Plaza and we welcome you anytime when you visit Japan. We get a lot of global educational information and international projects Day and Night sharing worldwide information beyond time and space.

The goal of JEARN

Overcoming the difficulties of global interaction, children engage the world

HOW

JEARN is the first Japanese organization where providing supports to schools and teachers who need overcome the difficulties so that children engage the world with the help of local volunteers, based on global educational networks built through Teleclass http://www.jearn.jp/Teleclass activities from 1985 and iEARN  http://www.jearn.jp/iEARN1996, and more.


Twelve Activities of JEARN
  1. Distribution of hot international /local information to iEARN and JEARN by JEARN web, ML, and Monthly JEARN Frash
  2. Contribution to iEARN as iEARN-Japan and iEARN-Assembly
  3. Contribution to iEARN Projects by international coordinators such as Teddy Bear Project
  4. Planning/ Coordinating /Supporting JEARN members' projects
  5. Develop iEARN projects in schools in Japan
  6. Workshops for Global projects
  7. Providing international face to face conference for teachers and students
  8. Develop iEARN regional networks such as iEARN-Asia/Pacific
  9. Providing international coordinators training sessions on and off lines
  10. Growing Local volunteers including college students making the best use of their various skills for JEARN and iEARN
  11. Printed Annual JEARN Report Books and iEARN Project Books in Japanese
