[Main Activities of this year]
- Dream School TV conferences (two series) were coordinated by Japan in May(2002&2003). Schools from 6 countries, Armenia, Australia ,Japan, South Africa, Taiwan and Ukraine joined.
- More than 10 delegations from Japan attended the iEARN conference in Moscow, We made an announcement of iEARN conference 2003 in Japan.
- We had about 15 iEARN workshop and seminars for teachers and students, especially in order to make the coming conference in Japan successful.
- A Japanese school participates in gFrom Russia to Japan with Loveh traveling of art Exhibition from St Petersburg, Russia in November and will finish at the conference in Japan in July 2003. This artworks are worked by students in Russia, Belarus, Poland, Ukraine, Iran, Kosovo, Australia, Thailand and Japan.
- The most popular projects among Japanese teachers and students of this year are Teddy Bear, Side by Side Dream School, Teleclass Project(Video conference), Youth Can projects. Especially Teddy Bear project participating schools are more than 20 schools in a year.
- We translated an annual project book from English to Japanese an annual project book and introduce to Japanese teachers and students to fell easy to join.
[Our goal for next year]
- Welcoming participants from all over the world to the 2003 iEARN conference in Japan and make it successfully with a lot of supports.
- Increase the number of Japanese schools and teachers involved through projects.
- Promote participation in iEARN projects and start some projects from Japan.
- Organize iEARN beginners workshop for teachers who hasnft done iearn projects
