Annual Report

2003

The most important event for iEARN-Japan in the last year was
"10th Annual iEARN Conference/ Youth Summit in Japan".
http://www2.jearn.jp/fs/467/2003report_eng.pdf

We welcomed about 950 participants from 56 countries including Japan. Moreover, we had large numbers of volunteers to make the conference success. After the conference, more teachers and students have been involved in iEARN and we have been developing iEARN - Japan network.

Several projects are host by iEARN-Japan and Japanese teachers.

     •  Dream School
     •  From Japan to Slovakia with Love
     •  Negai Connection
     •  My Dream
     •  Children in Space
     •  Think Wonder

also Japanese schools involved several projects , like

     •  Teddy Bear
     •  Children in Bam
     •  Art Miles Mural
     •  Video Conference

In addition to that, we had some iEARN work shop for teachers and encourage them to join in iEARN net work.

This year,
We hope we have more potential for involving schools in iEARN projects and engaging partners through having substantial work shops.
We are planning a joint project with JICA - Net for the Teddy Bear . (JICA: Japan International Cooperation Agency) and make stronger iEARN - Asia net work.
