It is JEARNfs achievement to issue gJEARN Report Book 2007h,88 pages, in April collecting all the records of iEARN activities done by JEARN members, Project leaders, and Office during 2007 school year. To iEARN, TBP matching coordinator Beefs effort and time should be listed. In addition, we:

* Moved to a new office in Kobe
* Have 137(paid), 50 (volunteers and others) as JEARN members
* Prepare 2008 JEARN structure, a new JEARN system in both technical and human.

[Natural Disaster Youth Summit]

Presentation at iEARN conference in Egypt, Starting project on September 1, NDYS Disaster Safety Map Exhibition at DRI in Hyogo on March 2008, NDYS Forum through Video-Conferencing at DRI in Hyogo on March 2008, Oral presentation of NDYS at Global Map in NDYS 2008 in Trinidad and Tobago in April.

[Japan Art Mile]

JAM has been developing Art Miles Mural Exchange Project. In 2007, 20 classes (15 schools) paired with 20 classes (17 schools) from 5 countries researched, learned on line on each own theme, Environment, Culture, Future etc and then expressed their learning out in the means of joint-painting. All the pairs reached the goal and completed 22 murals. JAM also brought Art Miles into schools as Project Based Learning. 8 schools joined and they painted 9 murals as their learning output. Besides JAM conducted a big painting event at a world heritage castle, where 500 people produced 28 murals one day.

[NEGAI Connection]

On August 2 in 2007, NEGAI (Peace Song- Our Wish) accomplished reaching 1000 verse song. This song became the world longest one. Also we have collected 36 translations. Through actual concerts all over Japan, more and more people began to know this song and have sung this song.
   On May 4, there was a big concert in Makuhari, Japan. Then 900 chorus members sang this song in front of 12000 people. Singers were from Japan, Kenya, Iran . USA and Ukraine. A book entitled gThe world longest peace song NEGAIh will be published coming July. Now our collection has reached 1400 verses in May 2008! Everyonefs peace wish is collected and is appealing peace!
